When teachers notice that writing involves more than the accurate use of grammar and a good range of vocabulary, they are able to assess and develop a comprehensive writing process integrating micro and macro skills. This comprehensive way to write is possible when writing is also integrated with reading, since the development of reading skills is essential for the development of writing skills. Regarding the different considerations that teachers should keep in mind I would say that teachers should take into account students’ interests, he also should select relevant topics to the age, model writing exercises, interesting assessment tasks and provide reasons for writing
We should consider the student´s level and age because it is important to apply suitable writing task, activities and choosing the adequate genre of writing for them. In the same way to assess writing as well. When we consider this, we should take into account micro and macro skills because these will give us ideas to create activities according with the student´s level. Micro skills: It´s related to basic and important structures that students have to learn in the second language such as rules, patters, identifying words and express particulars meaning in different grammatical forms. MICRO SKILLS therefore, are important for beginners because it will give them the writing structural basis. On the other hand macro skills are related to develop logical and extensive writing and it’s suitable for Youngers and advanced level.
Before assessing writing we must take in to a count that students must have been given the correct instructions, in other words, when we as teachers use and design an effective writing assessment should think about what we have taught to our students and how well prepared they are according to our guidance. Because it is not only the grammar features, the vocabulary, the structures, content, fluency, etc but also the way they have developed an analytical and success writing performance and integrating macro and micro skills. Besides that, writing assessment is followed by an appropriated assessing reading in which students are totally involved in their own assessment. If students could be part of their assessment they will develop numerous strategies and it will help them to rehearse the correct steps for their own writing process
At the moment of teaching writing teachers must keep in mind that it implies to develop micro and macro skills, and not just a range of vocabulary and good collocation of words, as result of this, when assessing writing teachers must be aware, that they have to assess exactly what they have taught and not anything different, for example if teacher teaches grammar he/she must assess grammar and not vocabulary or punctuation, on the other hand teachers should be aware that writing cannot be an isolated process, and it should combine its development with other skills like reading, listening and speaking, in the same way, at the moment of teaching writing teachers need to use different strategies to make the teaching process easier for the students, also, teachers should ask students to produce different kinds of writing in order to avoid falling in the monotony, doing this teacher will get better results from the teaching process.
Developing written language acquisition is important for students and teachers to recognize other language aspectes that are necessary just not on academic issues, but also on the routine days, al should be an on going process,all the skills related with this process need the necessary elements (grammar, graphemes coherence etc) and practice to do it accurately. On the other hand the assessing process is also a tool for teacher to increased that skills on our students, and find their weaknesses on their learning process.
Writing is another important skill that we need to promote in our students, because it can help them to build up a successful communication. As teachers, if we are designing writing assessment task, we should to measure some consideration. First, we need to be clear, what are our objectives for assessing. Then, what is the student’s age and level and what are their interests.
There are different levels of written production (imitative, intensive, responsive and extensive) that we can apply with our learners taking into account the suitable and adequate level for them. I should to include in my assessing paper as teacher the fallowing items to be clear what are going to assess. Fluency (number of words), content (structure, cohesion and originality), spelling (punctuation, capitalization and grammar) syntax and vocabulary. A teacher cannot make an appropriate instructional match between a student's skills and appropriate tasks without assessment.
As a conclusion, the assessment of a student's writing needs that the teacher have a conceptual model of written expression taking into account purpose, process and product.

Those aspects are relevant not just to assess writing, but all the skills. • The teacher should have a clear objective to determine the kind of tasks he/she will develop. • When you assess writing it is important to provide clear instructions and, why not, some models for students to understand what you expect. • Take into account students’ attempts. Give them the chance to make and correct mistakes, so assess writing as a process more than as a product. • Combine writing with other skills. Reading could be really helpful because it provides some structures that students can follow. • Pay more attention to the meaning than to the form. Sometimes students can make spelling, grammar, vocabulary or time mistakes, but the ideas can be clear and coherent. It does not mean that you do not need to reinforce those aspects, nonetheless it is a matter of practice.
As a conclusion, assess writing as an integrated skill: Purpose, coherence, form,discourse, process, and product.

Finally we as teachers should teach our students to practice writing and the other skills in an extensive way in order that they enjoy and feel pleasure to write and improve it out the class.
Writing assessment is not only about “write a sentence using verb to be”. Like in any other skill, writing demands attention. If I want to help my students to learn not only how to write grammatically correct sentences but encourage them to express and organize their ideas and perceptions (finding writing a good means to share their understandings or views of the world) It is indispensable to me, as teacher, take into account some considerations to design high quality writing assessment tasks:
- Students: English level, context, needs and wants, age, strengths and weaknesses. - Teacher: what am I going to asses? Clear objectives, instructions and models, strategies to teach writing. - Time: allow students to rehearse and learn through mistakes. - Integrate reading and writing skills. When students have the possibility to read texts in the target language, is pretty easy for them to write, because reading give them models for their own written creations.
I hope that the previous considerations may help me in my practice. I will keep them in mind to design good activities for my next lesson plan.

First of all, the teacher must know their students interest. Secondly, the type of level that the course have, if they are beginners or upper level, the teacher can design the type of assessment activities. Thirdly, the teacher should have clear the objectives or the criterion about what aspects of the written skill will be assessed. Fourthly, the teacher should choose the kind of activities that are going to be implemented in the course or the possible genres that better fits according to the level of the students. And finally, the teacher must decide the score the he will use for grading the activities and obviously he or she must give a feedback about those grades and which aspect students must improve.
We as teachers must take into account many aspects when teaching writing, because there should be a shared code knowledge and an accepted linguistic form among the emissary and the receptor, where the schemata is activated in your brain, that results in the comprehension of the message. Teachers must be certain that their students can learn writing through various types, where the essence of the written word has a context, an intention, a logical sequence, details, support, evidences, but most important of all is the culture from where it´s being written, and you as the teacher must possess a criteria and make that criteria crystal clear to your students, for them to be able to know how they will be assessed in that particular task, because that guaranties that the authenticity of the activities is achieved. From there the teacher can create activities that are interesting and relevant to the student’s needs, for when it comes to putting in written print, the teachers must know that it is far better to ask the student to try and write a whole paragraphs rather than simple loose sentences for they will be able to improve their English level. And as a personal note, writing is only improved if you read, therefore the more you read the better your writing will be, so you see an integration among these two can only be beneficial in your classroom.
A key factor here is giving clear and specific criteria to students and guide them through the process. The teacher cannot expect perfect results from the start.When assessing writing a teacher must take into account that not all students will have the same level of skills, specially if this a foreign language. Therefore students can cooperate to check among themselves the use and understanding of micro skills.
Peer to peer assessment is an excellent idea because students can check and reflect about what they have written and at the same time they are assessing their partner's writing. Ti improve this kind of skills there is no better advice than practice, pracice, practice.
